Announcing Okayama Art Summit 2019

On November 13th, the first Okayama Art Summit Executive Committee meeting for fiscal year 2017 was held at the Okayama City Office. The committee made the decision to hold Okayama Art Summit 2019, the second iteration of the large-scale international art exhibition in fall of 2019.
Internationally acclaimed French contemporary artist Pierre Huyghe, a participant of the Okayama Art Summit 2016, has been appointed artistic director.
Continuing from the inaugural year, president of the Ishikawa Foundation, Yasuharu Ishikawa will serve as producer.
We kindly ask for your continued support of the Ishikawa Foundation as we begin preparations for Okayama Art Summit 2019.

Okayama Award 2017 Awards decision
October 16 (Monday) We held the 2017 Okayama Awards ceremony at THE MAGRITTE.
As a result of rigorous review, among the seven nominators for special and department awards combined was chosen as the prize for this year
It is Mr. Junro Nishizaki, NPO corporation Saraburi training training chairman Kibi Kogen.
Nishizaki-san including you, I hope the winners will be active more and more in the future.
